Manhattan - May 25, 2018
After 52 Magic Mondays, I sometimes find it a bit challenging to do street photography in the city again. There's a piece of me that feels like my time there can never be "as good" as it was during the year long project. I know that's just my head talking, it's not true at all. I still LOVE the city, the people and all the situations that unfold during my visits. I think I just miss the specialness of 2016.
Quick update - I'm finally on my way to completing my book about 52 Magic Mondays. I found the inspiration I needed on this visit! I now have a more visual idea of how I want to layout the book. Not having that visual was holding me back a bit.

I think about not dying my hair anymore. I wear it on the longer side so the idea of growing it out sounds horrible. I think if I did decide to stop coloring my hair I would have to go super short so all the dyed hair got cut off. Probably not this short but I think she looks gorgeous and I liked the framing.
I loved how the light off the welder looked like a strobe light went off.

Personally, I prefer to focus on what I do want.
