Manhattan - May 25, 2018
After 52 Magic Mondays, I sometimes find it a bit challenging to do street photography in the city again. There's a piece of me that feels like my time there can never be "as good" as it was during the year long project. I know that's just my head talking, it's not true at all. I still LOVE the city, the people and all the situations that unfold during my visits. I think I just miss the specialness of 2016.
Quick update - I'm finally on my way to completing my book about 52 Magic Mondays. I found the inspiration I needed on this visit! I now have a more visual idea of how I want to layout the book. Not having that visual was holding me back a bit.
Onward!

Woof.
I think about not dying my hair anymore. I wear it on the longer side so the idea of growing it out sounds horrible. I think if I did decide to stop coloring my hair I would have to go super short so all the dyed hair got cut off. Probably not this short but I think she looks gorgeous and I liked the framing.
I loved how the light off the welder looked like a strobe light went off.
Washington Square Park.
Very "Akashic Record" type idea. Google if you've never heard of the Akashic Records. :)
Personally, I prefer to focus on what I do want.
Wash all this scum off the street.
Heads up!
Couldn't help but think of the Sue Ellen Mischke episode of Seinfeld when Elaine bought bra-less wonder Sue Ellen a bra so she wore the bra only and a blazer.
Someone please tell me what this could possibly mean?
A new addition to #peopleleavingdrinks!
He was using a very simple, strong sewing machine as we walked by.
Interesting architecture. It was called The Primitive Church.
I looked them up. They are a theater group that's been around since 1958!
Topless. :)
They've got bee boxes in Bryant Park!
Thanks for looking through! Just an FYI, I did create an online store with some of my favorite photos I've created the last few years. There's a "Shop" page on this website, or you can go to the Fine Art America website.
Until the next Magic adventure!
