Chrysler Building
Herald Square
Times Square
Train In/Out: Milford, CT
Restaurants: Pershing Square
Camera: Olympus OM-D E-M1, m.Zuiko 60mm, m.Zuiko 17mm f1.8
As I sat in the food court area of Grand Central journaling a bit before starting my day, I could hear singing. It sounded like a full blown Broadway show was going on. Turns out it was this young lady, Samantha Echo. She could sing, I enjoyed her. She sang "Send in the Clowns" as I stood and watched; haven't heard that song since I was little.
On with the photographic journey...
Lunch at Pershing Square with this beauty. Walked her to class near Times Square so that determined where I would spend the rest of my time for the day which was limited since we "did lunch."
Before lunch I explored the lobby of the Chrysler Building which is next door to Grand Central...
Fancy inlaid wood on the elevator doors.
Quite the change of color once you leave the lobby of the Chrysler Building. This is headed down a floor.
See the next image...
Those little "horns" sticking out on either side of the flag are the eagles you see in the image above this one.
What's crawling up those angled supports?
Rats!
Graybar Passage next door to Grand Central.
A few people work here.
There is a full gym in the Graybar Passage called Equinox (yeah, I got yelled at for taking pictures).
Double exposure.
Victoria can be so rude listening in.
Got the Empire State Building in the reflection...I'm so clever.
Wish he had been walking towards me, he had a cool mohawk.
When in Rome...
Reality check. I don't know if we're any safer in Times Square now, or when it was full of whores and drug dealers. :(
I told him I never tried it. He recommended that I should. :)
Hopefully I will stumble upon this again because I have no idea where I was...somewhere between Times Square and Bryant Park.
You know what page this one qualifies for...
This one, too!
Another double exposure. Just fooling with that feature of my beloved Olympus E-M1. It was funny because I took the first picture (the oval) and then I said to myself that I would just stand here until someone interesting walks by. I looked up and immediately saw the Marine. Weird.
Until the next Magic Monday!
xo,
